The Kaizers have been innkeepers since 1986 when they built their two traditional post and beam inns. Thea is a Nantucket native, and the daughter of Dorothy Morris, who was for many years the innkeeper of the White House on Nantucket’s Centre Street, where Thea was raised. Peter is a charter fisherman on the Althea K, as well as one of the most highly regarded commercial tuna fishermen on the Eastern Seaboard. Their two children, Peter Jr. and Katie, both returned after college to make Nantucket their home. Peter Jr. works in finance, and is also the owner of Isle Have Another, a popular local raw bar business. Katie is a photographer specializing in weddings and family portraits, who was named one of the top 20 wedding photographers in the greater Boston area by The Bride Box. Now in their 31st year, the Kaizer family carries on the innkeeping tradition with personal attention and gracious service, always making their guests feel at home.
